Middle school and high school students are uniquely positioned to bring life to our community in powerful ways. In VY, we equip our students to do just that. Student leadership is cultivated in our weekly meetings (Wednesdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm), through outreach events, through mentoring and discipleship, and through national Vineyard programs such as Project Timothy, a four year leader leadership program for high school students.
Our Wednesday night meetings include fun activities with the whole group as well as age-based small group time for prayer and discussion on what it looks like to follow Jesus in healthy community.
On Sunday mornings, middle school students (grades 6-8) join the adults for worship, then gather together for their own lesson. High school students remain in the sanctuary for Sunday services, often partnering with the rest of our church family by serving on our worship or administrative teams.
